Weight gainers are not surprisingly supplements that help a person gain weight! They generally consist of protein, carbohydrates and fats with some added extras.
Protein shakes provide mainly protein, but very little else nutritionally. Weight gainers are essentially beefed-up protein powders; they provide protein, plus significant amounts of carbohydrates and fat, and very often vitamins and minerals in modest potencies.
Keep in mind is that while the suggested serving size of some weight gainers is very large, users can use smaller serving sizes as they see fit. Another important factor to consider is the importance of basic nutrition. The easiest way of shaping up the strong muscular physic with the help of the bodybuilding supplement has been tried out and proven to be the best.
Another way to effectively use weight gainers is in your post-workout meal.
Back in the day, weight gainers used to be fairly cheap protein powders loaded with sugar and fat to up the calorie content. The serving size would be something like 128 oz and the serving would contain 3000 calories. Most of the weight gainers are packed with sugar and are empty, non-nutrient dense ways of getting your calories. Therefore, always focus on quality food for your calories.
Slim-Fast shakes are popular weight loss diet drinks while Optimum Nutrition's Serious Mass is a popular weight gainer drink.
Biological value (BV) is commonly used in herbal supplement, fat loss supplement, natural supplement and other kinds of nutritional supplement, which refers to a computation that calculates how fast the body absorbs and uses the protein.
Knowing the content of sugar in weight gainers is important because some people experience headaches, irritability and drowsiness with excessively high sugar intake.
In choosing weight gainers, look for products with high quality carbs and protein, low sugar and calorie content.
To gain lean muscle mass you must combine weight training with a balanced diet. Weight training leads to new muscular growth and an optimal diet will allow you to grow faster.
An important thing to remember about weight gainers protein supplements is that it should be combined with proper diet and a workout program.
As far as calories go, most weight gainers simply deliver more calories than you can use at one time.

Testosterone Booster: 1 pills every non-workout day before breakfast with plenty of water and 2 pills every workout day before breakfast with plenty of water Multi Vitamine: 1 pill every day after breakfast Omega 3: 1 pill every day after lunch
Voting Question: I Need to gain weight like a lot help plz?
I need to get some weight on myself. I'm 16 and I'm 5'10. I weigh 110. I lift weights so that's no problem cuz I workout. I eat a LOT. I eat around 5 or 6 times a day. My diet would be like --------------------------------------… breakfast: 3 chocolate chip pancakes and a glass of fruit juice and a glass of milk Lunch would be like 3 hours later and I would eat like Chicken or rice or beans or pasta. Then I would work out an hour and a half after Lunch (i workout for an hour) and once I finish working out I take Russian Bear 5000 weight gainer (1 scoop) and I mix that with Whey protein )1 scoop) and I put it with a glass of milk. That's around 800 calories and 65 grams of protein. Like 2 hours of that I eat a lot of fruits. I eat peaches, bananas, grapes, and apples. Then at night I eat dinner and after dinner I drink more Russian Bear 5000 with a glass of milk.. -------------------------------- So my diet is pretty good I think, but I can't gain weight. I need help. Any suggestions (: ? O btw im an ectomorph for everyone whose wondering
